This morning at the @dwfmarket we will have 5 kinds of apples - Gala, Silken, Test #1, Evangeline, Novaspy - and 2 pears - Bartlett and 615. Also raspberries, husk cherries, and paw paws. We have beets, leeks, kale and chard, sorrel, fennel, celeriac, sweet potatoes, sweet and hot peppers, field tomatoes and zucchini blossoms, squashes, pumpkins, gourds, apple cider vinegar (new flavour this week is jalapeño), jams and jellies. Fall raspberries, husk cherries, a few cucamelons, beans, beets, eggplant, leeks, kale & chard, sorrel, sweet & hot peppers, field tomatoes, squash, zucchini flowers, herbs, butterfly plants, and sweet potatoes. Husk cherries, beans, beets, eggplant, leeks, kale/chard/sorrel, hot & sweet peppers, a few field tomatoes, squash (6 kinds!), zucchini blossoms, homemade jams and apple cider vinegars (10 kinds!). So we picked a few peaches this morning.... and only a few ... but some of these are pretty good size. This beauty is 426 grams ... and for all you non metric folks 15ounces , just 1 ounce short of a pound! They won’t be on the wagon long .... strictly first come;first serve
