We were fortunate to have Annie Johannessen of West Coast Seeds Farm give us a tour of their facility in Delta. Friday, January 31st, 2020 at the HR MacMillan Space Centre We are pleased to announce that Emily Erlam from London UK is confirmed as our speaker for 2020. Emily came highly recommended to us by Charlotte Rowe who sang our praises after her presentation this past February. Charlotte recommended Emily to us not only because she is a wonderful designer but because she has experience in public speaking as well as conducti...ng workshops. Tickets on Eventbrite coming soon. With Emily’s lecture on Friday, the workshop for GDG members will take place the following day on Saturday, February 1st. There will be limited enrollment to the workshop as this year so be sure to watch for emails to sign up probably in September. This will be an exciting time for our group. This is short notice but is anybody interested in promoting themselves by doing one of four vignettes (each is a 14' x 8' walled section) for the Blooming Balconies feature at this year's Home and Garden Show? It will be on the concourse level. You will need to design, source, install and take down your display. Two more days until the big event!!! We are all so excited to be hosting Charlotte Rowe for two sold out events. The workshop on the Saturday is a members only exclusive hands on experience. Friday we ask all volunteers to please arrive at 5:30 for set up. We will meet out front of the planetarium. Kimberly will be sending a revised set up and tear down schedule through the yahoo group.
