Congratulations to Judy Peach and the Regional Women in Business Network on a successful virtual tradeshow. 2020 has presented many challenges to business owners in our communities and it is encouraging to see the support from so many people. The tradeshow website saw 974 unique visitors with a total page visits of 3084. For a first attempt of something like this on the Burin Peninsula, we consider this a success. The future of showcasing local businessses online is brig...ht!!! Congratulations to the winners of the GBDC digital gift pack, the RWIBN gift pack, and the feedback prize. Your participation and feedback is vital to its success and it is great to see so many entries. Thanks to Deb from the CYN for making our draws. The GBDC is proud to be a supporter of the Regional Women in Business. The work done in our community, and the Burin Peninsula as a whole, is aimed at creating, assisting, and promoting weomen entrepreneurs.
