Happening in Hamilton: McMaster researchers find promising treatment for most deadly cancer Researchers at McMaster say they’ve found an effective treatment for lung cancer, which is considered the most deadly form of cancer. The treatment, known as checkpoint blockade therapy, was established by combining two forms of immunotherapy. After I posted about the property with 45 offers submitted, more than a few people messaged to ask, "Why?" The answer is more straightforward than you might think and it goes back to basics ... Supply vs Demand. This quick snapshot below illustrates that we currently have the absolute lowest level of active property listings in the last four years by a fairly wide margin.... January to February 2017 saw us hovering around 1,005 active listings at the end of each month. That was the beginning of a record-setting year for Hamilton-Burlington real estate. At the end of December 2020 we have 660. Keeping in mind that the current level of demand is very high and that is with our borders effectively closed and in the absence of immigration. I think we can all agree that the underlying economics and political climate are somewhat different at the moment and changing rapidly but, wanna guess what the next few months in real estate are going to be like?

When potential buyers ask if the real estate market is 'still busy' I send them screenshots like this... Seven property showings booked for later this afternoon. Surprisingly few cats for some reason. I think they may have been eaten during the first shutdown. One can hope.
