The Ice House Gallery curator Brandt Eisner and I (Marshall!) went to deliver some work to Inverness, but also took the opportunity to explore the Inverness County Centre for the Arts yesterday! We got to explore their awesome space, meet the hardworking team that makes it happen, and explore their performance and gallery space! The arts centres that are scattered throughout Nova Scotia are an integral part of culture and arts in our communities and it’s always inspiring to m...eet other teams and see other spaces working towards meeting their communities needs! So if you’re in Inverness, go take a gander! And support local arts centreswe all have the same goal, serving YOU! We also are starting to gather material for a small series on galleries, arts centres, and artist studios that’s coming in the future, so keep an eye out as we start working towards highlighting some of our partners in culture!

We have a call for auditions out there now for a new storytelling series organized by the Grace Jollymore with the generous help of the Government of Canada, the Equity Fund, and our Communities Foundation! Check it out for more info!
