This is the most exciting day for us! Being able to mail out cheques to all of the partner charities involved in #tgp20 never ever gets old well done, everyone! Your care for your ageing friends, family, and the charities who serve them showed clearly this year more than ever before

We hope you're all still riding the amazing fundraising wave from last month we did somethign truly amazing together - we raised over $160,000 dollars (whaaaaat) for our aging friends and family members across Canada that's just incredible and we're so, so, SO proiud of you! As we wrap up TGP 2020, here are a few things to help you wrap up your fundraising! Donation Deadline is October 16! If you are hanging on to any cash donations, please post them online and pay... for them by logging into Fundhub, click Enter $$ or Cheques, and follow the instructions. As well, please mail any cheques (made out to The Grand Parade) to our office. We know this was a year like no other, and we want your feedback! We are constantly trying to find ways to make this event more successful, so please fill it out before October 16: thegrandparade.org/survey 3. If You Haven’t Already... Don’t forget to thank your donors. Let them know how appreciative you are of their support in TGP this year!

Amidst all the uncertainty right now, one thing is for sure: we need community. You've done a truly amazing thing - as of right now, we've fundraised over $140,000 across Canada to support seniors and the charities that serve them and the best part? We walk TODAY! As you prepare to head to your COVID-friendly team walk (or hit the streets in your own neighborhood!), here are a few things to bring along: A cell phone for emergencies and photos (please take lots of photos of your walk!!) ... Your face mask Your walking shoes Snacks (duh ) Your own water bottle, filled with icy cold water! Warm layers with moisture-repelling clothing in case it's cold or windy - and be sure to keep your eye on the forecast! Have fun today and please know that your effort means a great deal to the charity you are walking for... and more importantly, for the community of aging Canadians that they serve. #tgp20

We walk TOMORROW! amidst all the excitement, let's talk about a few key things to keep in mind for your walk tomorrow: For those raising $150 or more, we’ll be thanking you for your efforts with a sweet, super-soft TGP t-shirt that you’ll be proud to wear (and maybe even brag about)! You should see instructions for your t-shirt pickup in your email now This year you can sleep in a little longer if you want. Teams and individuals are free to gather at a time that is co...nvenient for all of you. For those raise $150 or more, we’ll be thanking you for your efforts with a sweet, super-soft TGP t-shirt that you’ll be proud to wear (and maybe even brag about)! You should see instructions for your t-shirt pickup in your email now - most locations are offering a Thursday evening (today!) pickup as well as a Saturday morning pickup This is important: Please wear a mask. Queue up 6 feet apart from the next person in line, and we'll move through the process cheerfully and quickly, celebrating your fundraising in the safest way possible. Make sure you're registered online (this is required!) before arriving for your safe and socially distanced walk tomorrow!
