New Policies No-show/Late cancellation: I will be sending out reminders the night before your dog’s scheduled appointment. If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel less than 24hrs before, you will be charged half the price of your scheduled appointment. Early/Late for appointment:... I will accept dogs no more than 10 minutes early. If I am working on a dog and you arrive early I will not be able to greet you until your appointment time. Being late puts me behind, if you are 15 minutes late for your appointment, I will consider it a no-show and you may be charged accordingly. Late pick-up: I will contact you once your dog is finished. If you do not pick-up your dog within 30 minutes after being contact I will be charging a kenneling fee of $15/30 minutes. I do not leave dogs unattended which means as long as your dog is in my care I am working. Once a dog knows work is over they become excited and most will cry or bark! Difficult Handling: I will do my best to provide extra time and care to ensure safety and comfort of your dog. Dogs need to stand for much of the grooming process and some older pets or pets with arthritis find this difficult. Dogs may also be anxious, over excited and wiggly, or angry and snappy. This means I may need to work more slowly to keep your pet comfortable and both of us safe. For this reason, the price for the grooming may increase. Matting: I will not be brushing out matting. Combing out matting is an extensive process. While shaving out matts is quicker, it requires extra equipment. Most matted dogs require a haircut before they can be bathed so that water can penetrate to the skin, and will need to be finished with the final haircut after they're clean. I may go through several blades before the job is complete, this increases cost and time.

I've been getting a lot of messages about potential new clients and nail trim appointments so I thought it would be easier to make one post. I am currently only working part time and because of that my client list is full. I am keeping a wait list of those looking to become clients and will message those on the list when/if openings come up. I am not taking nail trim only appointments at this time. Working from my home and with covid restrictions I bath every dog that comes... into my shop before anything. Anyone messaging me as a new client can leave the following information and I will add you to my wait list: Name, age and breed of your dog. If your dog has been groomed before and any health/temperament concerns. Thanks for your understanding! Jessica
