It’s been a very long week, but this transformation was by far my greatest challenge (ever!) and now one of the installations I’m most proud of. This sweet client came to me because she was tired of wearing wigs, and after patiently growing her hair out after chemo she wanted something new, that felt more natural. During our consultation we talked about the extension methods that were available but I also let her know this was something I’d have to really think about, and... figure out what we could do to help her. She was so happy I hadn’t just turned her away right away and we decided I’d be in touch once I had put together a plan. So I went to work. After countless hours of internet searches and YouTube videos I reached out to my client and explained that a combination of Weft extensions and a Topper Hair Piece (something completely new to me) could do the trick. I then had my client come back in for a second consultation and we went over colours and cost. But this client was determined to have her natural hair on top, so we then decided to do a Thick Full Head of just Wefts extensions. I was so anxious about the idea (to say the least) but my client was determined, so much so that it pushed me to be determined to. So I spent more hours researching and watching tutorials. Then I put a plan in place and designed her installation, diagrams, measurements everything! (Check our my prep work in the last picture.) Finally the installation day came, I was anxious but still determined. So away we went. 5.5hrs later this was the final result and I couldn’t be prouder. I also couldn’t be more thankful to this client for showing me/reminding me that going out of our comfort zone can be scary but also so rewarding. Thank You!
