This is a stool for vaginal steaming. This practice has rich and varied cultural ties: chai-yok in Korea, bajos among Mayan healers, yoni steam from Ayurveda and other healing traditions. Folx have been using medicated steam to heal for thousands of years. It is with deep reverence that we offer this service! Vaginal steaming can be done at home or in the clinic. For us, It is an adjunct to a trauma informed cervical wellness exam (aka PAP exam) or an escharotic treatment... where we facilitate the healing of cervical tissue after an abnormal PAP. Sitting over a bowl of gently steaming organic herbs and filtered water encourages blood flow, loosens the pelvic floor, modulates vaginal flora and facilitates healing of stored trauma.
