First time growing rapini! One of my favourite greens, having an Italian background this is a major staple on our plates Rapini is a bitter green and should be planted at the end of summer as the temperatures start dipping at night. Frost actually helps the rapini become less bitter! I grew this beautiful {organic} harvest from seed! I direct sowed the seeds back in September and due to the wet weather we have experienced {in Guelph, ON}, I didn’t have to water too often... to get the seeds going.
