The Hideaway

We had the pleasure of staying at the Hideaway in October 2019. It was an amazing visit and the accommodations were top notch - the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern day design. Melissa and Charles were available within minutes to a short hour anytime we reached out and they made sure to check in to see that everything was to our satisfaction. We will definitely stay at the Hideaway again when we visit the region and give it and our hosts the highest recommendation to anyone contemplating a visit to Hall’s Harbour, NS. Simply put, we received a true Maritime welcome (and I know, since I am a Maritimer myself ;) and Charles and Melissa represent the best that the Maritime spirit has to offer S Oct 2019

The Instagram-worthy aesthetics make this home feel like you’re living in a Maritime version of Better Homes & Gardensin all the best ways, of course! The rich, rugged, and magical culture and history of this part of Canada is only at your fingertips. Should you chose to avail yourself at all, the tips and tricks Melissa & Charles have so thoughtfully curated for their guests. May we suggest that famous hike at Cape Split. May we suggest an immediate escape to our hot tub afterwards. Pairs with a lovely bottle of local Annapolis Valley wine, or cider. Both the hike and beverages are not to be missed!

Around every turn, we catch ourselves gasping at the beauty. Out loud. Whether a twist in the road, cresting a point along the shore, or discoveries out on the water, we have yet to exhaust our own sense of awe and wonder. I suggest you come see for yourself.
