As 2020 comes to a close, I think we can all look back and see what a crazy, unpredictable year this has been! I am a firm believer of the power of intention and the power of the mind. What we think we become and how we feel becomes our reality. For some this unprecedented time has propelled us forward and for others it has made us slow down; either way for the majority of us it has changed our lives in one way or another. ... We can look back and ponder the challenges we faced and consume our time with the hardships or we can choose to focus on the good, the blessings and the opportunities that came our way. 1. I am so very thankful this pandemic gave me the opportunity to spend time at home without feeling the need to rush and get everything done. It gave me time to focus on my family unit and still have "me time". It gave me time to think about what is really important in my life, what I wanted to change and then be able to actually begin to make those changes. 2. I am thankful that it gave me time to cultivate the friendships in my life that are really important to me. The ones that held similar core values and who challenged me to be a better version of me. This time has also allowed me to let go of people and things that no longer aligned with my trajectory. By letting go this opened doors for new people and new experiences to enter my life. 3. Lastly, I am thankful for each and everyone of you. My business is a big part of my life. I spend a lot of time with you guys! Man, do I have it good! So, thank you for all your support during this time. I can't say it enough, I am one lucky girl! As corny as it sounds, you guys mean the world to me! All it takes is a few positive thoughts to change your mindset and then to change your life. I hope you look back on this year and start to notice at least a few wonderful things that came out of it and are able to draw those types of relationships and experiences into 2021! As much as I love warm sunny days there is something so special about rainy days. They make me want to slow down, be wrapped in baggy clothes and heavy blankets. It entices me to have an extra cup coffee and maybe the occasional glass of prosecco outside in the gazebo. Bring on this rainy day, I am ready for it! What do you like most about these kind of days?
