Merry Christmas from Santa , who dropped in to see the staff of the Hideout. His message is enjoy all the blessings of the season and BE SAFE this year! Below are two topics to prevent many tragedies this season. 1)Prepare your emergency plan for driving . Check vehicle is ready for winter, leave early so you have lots of time to do your journey, have an emergency kit aboard incase your get stranded. Never drive if upset, drunk, fatigued or otherwise unfit! 2) Prepare y...our emergency plan for your home . Take the time to review with GUESTS and FAMILY! Ex. Draw a exit plan with kids to make sure they know the alternate routes out of home-know where to go in the cold, who to call and what to say. Check: smoke detectors, extension chords, fire alarms, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, candles, fire places and pipes, make sure all emergency doors and windows are clear of ice snow and obstructions and even check the real tree for water. Cottlesville Pentecostal Church Christmas banquet fed 80 people today. (65 sit in and 15 take out). It was a pleasure to be able to accommodate such a group. This ends our amazing Christmas party season at the Hideout. Have a safe, healthy, happy and Merry Christmas everyone!!!
