Dec 2020 we will officially open the doors to the 1st of 3 future locations of @thehoopfactory At the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic, I committed to my team and myself that we would find a way to get through this together, and we would not sit back and let all the work the players have put in over the years go to waste. Needless to say, it’s been a considerable challenge to find space to keep us moving forward in a safe and consistent manner. We’ve gotten creative and qu...ickly launched online programs, went outside, hit the track and hills! ..We pulled off 6 weeks of Covid protocol Summer camp thru July and August safely safely and without incident. We stay committed to finding a way for young people to access this beautiful game and have an outlet during these times of increased mental health issues. Thru this process, we’ve learned new ways to impact our players holistically, using both technology and in-person training where and when we can. In the background, the pandemic has pushed us to search high and low for something suitable for the size and various levels of our programs. Covid has made it hard, but moving through this and leading the way is what we will continue to be about. 16 years ago, I had a vision to create a space for basketball-specific training. This is way before what the basketball training industry is what it is today. ....It’s own industry. Ppl thought I was crazy. They hated, talked crazy yadda yadda yadda.Same with AAU. Ppl Told me stop wasting my time, you’ll never build a successful program w/o a shoe deal @kingnationaau Now the ’s have a So what has Sports taught me? The biggest transferable skill may be the ability to discipline your thoughts and actions, so you remain focused on your vision while Blocking out the noise.
