Rebound is having a flash super sale, all Christmas items are half price! A sprinkle of snow would be nice for Christmas this year but our town is totally displaying the Christmas spirit. We still have numerous decorations and fully decorated trees available at half price. Numerous men’s, ladies and children’s skates are also on sale. A few pictures of other treasures also available. As we finish this challenging year Rebound would like to thank our community for all the love... and support you have provided us. We also want to thank our awesome staff and tireless volunteers for all your hard work this year. Barb and Ellen will be working out new ideas for the upcoming new year and will keep you up to date. Last day to shop at Rebound is December 23rd and then we will be closed for the holidays. Please come by and pick up any last minute items you may need. Here at Rebound we are all about Reduce, Recycle, ReUse and Repurpose. Todays treasures include an entry way bench or a seating bench from Bombay Company. We h...ave received a few signed prints from renowned artists. Three prints of the beautiful Quebec City as well as an adorable Christmas scene print. For all the bakers we have a lovely stainless steel counter top convection oven by kitchen aid. A very modern adjustable black and chrome chair is here waiting for a new home. TAKE BACK THE NIGHT. For over 10 years, Carleton Place has been host to one of the most well-attended rural Take Back the Night Marches in Canada. Even on the s...oggiest of nights, local residents turn out with their banners and noise-makers in record numbers. All to demand that a womans right to walk our streets safely be upheld. Take Back the Night is about womens right to be free of violence and to walk without fear.

A vintage tall dresser with mirror, very sturdy. A very useful platinum air cleaner for your home . For all camping enthusiasts we have a portable propane gas stove with compact case. Just in time for this weekend. This serving tray has been hand painted by Toby , and we are told he/she may be from Almonte. Let us know if you are aware of this artist. Stand included . EXTENDED SATURDAY HOURS and BAG SALE! We are happy to announce that we will be open on Saturday afternoons at The Hub from 1-4pm starting this weekend, August 1st! To celebrate, we are having a $5 bag sale as well so come on down to The Hub! Thanks to all our staff and volunteers for enabling us to open for a few more hours each week.

We are so grateful to our community, staff, volunteers and customers for all the overwhelming support you have given us over the past couple of months to donate and shop at The Hub and Rebound. THANK YOU. Your support has allowed us to continue supporting key organizations in our community such as, Lanark County Interval House while honoring our commitment to divert as much material from landfill as possible. Recycle, reduce, reuse and repurpose = a cleaner planet for all. Si...nce opening on May 29th, we have learned so much about how to adapt, evolve and transition to a new normal. It has not been easy for us and we are doing our best to accommodate the higher volume of donations with fewer shopping hours. As a result, we have had to reduce the days/hours for donation drop-offs because, we need to process donations by quarantining them for 24 hours in the outdoor shed. This is to ensure public safety and to keep our community healthy and Covid-19 free. Most recently, our staff and volunteers have experienced some nasty exchanges with donation drop-offs because we've had to turn some donations away because the shed is full. We simply can't take the risk and we ask for your kindness to come another day. Below are the available times for drop-off and please feel free to call the stores before coming down to confirm. The shed fills up pretty quickly...but we are not complaining as we are actively looking for solutions to this pandemic challenge. DONATION DROP-OFF HOURS: For THE HUB (613 256-5225): Mon, Wed and Fri ONLY: 9am -1pm OR until the shed is full. For REBOUND (613 256-1700): Mon through Sat: 12pm -4pm Much appreciated and stay well!

JULY 1st from 2-4 pm > TAKE A WALK ON THE NEW ALMONTE ALAMEDA! Canada Day may be cancelled in Mississippi Mills but an impromptu launch of the Almonte Alameda will be taking place. The Almonte Alameda is the newest park and memorial created by dozens of volunteers and funded by 150+ donors in the heart of downtown Almonte. Join us and pay tribute to this beautiful community project by taking a socially distanced walk (please wear a mask) in your Canada Day white and patriotic red. Creative and fancy dress, fascinators and parasols would be a treat to see on this tree-lined path! THE HUB will have a $5 bag day tomorrow for all red and white clothing so you can get ready for celebrating Canada's 153rd Birthday!
