The only bonus to being a blacksmith with a gas forge in this weather is that the forge dries out the air in the shop.....over 100 degrees but it’s like Arizona in here, not stupid-humid Southern Ontario! Thank goodness for cold clean water to drink and oh yah... cold beer eventually!

Just successfully forged and installed this vine railing up north.

Sometimes you're asked to make a 15' tall archway or an 18' tall Oak tree, other days your asked to make a replacement hand for a 150 year old clock or a weddin...g band, or even few nails for a replica violin from the 1600s. Ya just never know what custom situations will come up in this business! See more
