Good Evening Everyone. We promise that we are not on island time. Our staff consists mostly of high school students, so we do not have full time store hours until school is out. We will have limited week day hours next week from May 18-24th. More hours as school winds down and weather gets warmer. Hours for May 11th to Victoria Day Monday are as follows: Friday May15 (6-9:00pm), Saturday May 16 (1-9:00pm), Sunday May 17 (1-9:00pm), and Monday holiday hours (1:00pm-7:00pm). Great News Everyone! The Junction will be open this weekend, starting Friday evening 6:00-9:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 1:00-9:00pm. We will have 49 flavours to start. The new flavour is Tin Roof Sunday that has chocolate, peanuts, fudge and vanilla. Haskap Berry will be back in the near future for a limited run. Please no rain checks. We asked our staff here at The Junction what their top 5 favourite flavours of ice cream are. Here is Caelan's Top 5! 1) All Canadian Moose - A mix of caramel, vanilla and chocolate marble with chocolate peanut butter cups. It is A must try flavour of ice cream here at The Junction. 2) Salted Chocolate Caramel - A blend of chocolate caramel and a bit of salt that isn't too salty but still noticeable. Salted Chocolate Caramel makes for an excellent second choice.... 3) N.Y. Cherry Cheese Cake - A blend of cherry and cheese cake in a New York fashion is Caelan's favorite cheese cake. 4) Cinnamon Twist - It tastes strangely like a cinnamon bun with graham crackers coated with cinnamon strewn throughout makes for a superb ice cream. 5) Lemon Pie - For those who cant quite get enough lemon, Lemon Pie is a very tangy lemon with short bread to emulate pie crust and makes for an excellent choice of ice cream.
