Hello again everyone! Thank you so much to those who were able to join in our virtual communion service; it was great to see so many of your faces again. Also, a special thank you to everyone who put in their time and expertise to put on that service. As mentioned at the communion service, we are planning on having a virtual Christmas Eve service as well. Hello Junction Family! We hope that everyone is healthy and well. In our last update, we indicated that we would be reassessing our COVID response come October, and we have decided on the following: We will not be holding any Sunday services or large group gatherings over the coming months, through to the end of the calendar year, at which point we will reassess.... In November and December we are going to attempt to do half hour communion services digitally; all are welcome! Details on this are to follow on this, but we would like your feedback on what day/time people would prefer these short services. In addition, we would like to continue encouraging the following 4 habits to work into part of your weekly routine. Establish a Sunday morning routine Establish a small group routine Keep your kids connected Pray for your church To assist with these, we post sermons to our Facebook page on Sunday mornings, and there is a page for our Children’s Program where content is shared as well. We have also encouraged our small groups to continue, or start, meeting regularly via an online platform, and we will be looking to provide small group opportunities for anyone who is not connected to one and would like to be. Please reach out to us for information on how to get connected in a small group and with any needs for yourself or the wider community; we are still committed to serving people and reaching out in this non-Sunday morning format.
