If you or a family you know could use a top-up for your Canada Day, we have a few Canada Day Care Packages stil available. We will be on-site in Rosslyn tomorrow (Canada Day) from 1:00 - 2:00 for pick up! PM us if you have any questions!

CANADA DAY CARE PACKAGES We know that the current Covid-19 health crisis has made things particularly hard for young families and the summer months will continue to present challenges. The Junction wants to help. We are preparing some Canada Day packages which include weiners, buns, freezies, kool-aid, marshmallows, graham wafers, chocolate, pork & beans, cereal, bubbles & glow sticks. STORE HOURS AND OUTREACH UPDATE In light of the current COVID-19 situation and efforts to retain good health within our community, the Junction will be open by appointment only until further notice. If you or someone you know is experiencing emergency or food security issues in the weeks ahead we encourage you to contact us. Seniors and house-bound individuals, and families with young children are of special concern at this time. We think also of families who have been dep...endent on school breakfast and lunch programs. If you or someone you know is in this situation we would like to help out, whether it be with a store-visit to pick up some needed items or a request for a care-package to be made up. Our desire is that no one in our community struggle with hunger or lack of food at this time. Please note also that in addition to our pantry of food and personal care items, we have a modest selection of seasonal clothing items. If food security is going to be a problem for you and your family in the next few weeks please stop in or message us and we can do our best to help you out with items you may need. We encourage everyone to please keep in mind that our supplies are limited and are intended for emergency situations only. Right now especially we would like to have the focus of our supplies be for seniors and families with children who are in a crisis situation. If you have any questions please message us. THANK-YOU NICOLAS! Nicolas Stachow, a student at Valley Central School, celebrated his 9th Birthday recently and in lieu of presents asked his friends for donations of non-perishable food items which he dropped off at The Junction today. Thank you Nicolas for helping us start our week off with a well-stocked pantry! We are in good shape now to help those in the community facing emergency food needs in the days ahead!
