It was one spring morning several years back that I decided to take my one-year-old miniature golden doodle, Molly, for a walk in Beacon Hill Park. It was early in the morning. I thought I would take Molly out to release some of her puppy energy before I went to work at ten o’clock at my job at Marvelous Market. Molly and I walked a steady pace through the park. In the trees above, birds sang. Molly’s nails clicked against the pavement. The morning sun shone down, illuminating the pathway as an audience of girlie, pink tulips twinkled with fresh morning dew on the side of the path. It was a perfect morning. Suddenly, Molly started to run. I held on tightly to the leash and planted my feet firmly to the cement path to resist her tug, but my feet slid on the pavement.
2021 will be a great year! It can only go up from here, right?
