Dream of Beans, on Hunter Street, has been a coffee shop and cafe since 1997. Coffee roasting started in 2001 and the dining room/ lounge opened up in 2002. Jin... Chanana took over 2012 and added his own flair and atmosphere over the years. They offer Fair trade organic coffee as well as tea, savoury food and baking. Warna Hetti became a partner very recently and both have plans to expand further, with an expanded menu under the new name of Dreams Cafe and Bistro. They want to offer great products that they can be proud of in a safe and inclusive environment. The new business model is about bringing new flavours and an unorthodox dining experience to Peterborough. When asked about their time during the pandemic, they say they are doing the best they can. COVID-19 has meant change in the way they deal with reality, lifestyle, and their business. During COVID-19 people have bound together to support each other. Both Chanana and Hetti express gratitude to Peterborough, thank you, lots of love, please keep coming back community means everything, without community we would have nothing. This is a collaborated project with Photography By Julie Gagne; the pictures were captured by Julie. Dreams of Beans Cafe
