How long do we put up with -58 degree weather??? Well the answer is we have to put up with it because there aint any going south trips that can happen At least it was sunny and my plant babies got to soak up the warmth without feeling the freezing temps. Feeling all the feels right now..... Woke up this morning realizing that it’s been 17 years that Sheldon and I started talking on the phone and MSN messenger!! Gotta love those old chat rooms. So fun to think back of the super late nights we did.....pretty sure he fell asleep on the phone every single night But on another note. Did you catch my stories this weekend when I was DIYing some vases?! It was so much fun and easy. Now looking for more things to upcycle.

These boys are pumped that school was canceled! What a storm it’s been! Power went out last night from 9pm-6am and then went back out again at 9am. Life without power is quite interesting. The snow is blowing like crazy & the wind is howling. It’s making us so thankful for the shelter we have. A day for some card games, reading and snuggling on the couch. This last week I learned about boundaries. My boundaries. And boy does it feel good to set them and acknowledge them! It’s ok to say no. If you feel the urge down in your gut to say no...listen! Say no. It’s not a bad thing. Feeling the toxicity in people/situations/environments? Stay away. It may be hard for the first while but you’ll feel the relief and thankfulness that you did. ... Have someone that literally sucks the good energy/good vibes out of you? Step away. Don’t do that to yourself. Don’t put yourself in a position where you get trampled and tossed. Learning to honour my feelings and respecting them has been such a relief for me. I encourage you to do it as well. Reach out to me if you’re needing some encouragement or help!
