The Studio is set up and AWAITS the uniting of the Fall Epic League of 2020! These teens will be studying ancient symbols and re-imagining them in to potential apps!

The Inspiration Studio Academy of Fine Art 02.09.2020

Today the Epic League unites with all FIVE of its members! Jumping right into design, these young artists will be given the task of creating an app using ancient symbols! JUST like our beloved VIKING King Harald Bluetooth of Denmark between 958 and 970. King Harald was famous for uniting parts of Denmark and Norway into one nation and converting the Danes to Christianity. Bet you really wanted to know that right? So, what does a turn-of-the-last-millennium Viking king have to do with wireless communication? He was a uniter!

Today is another spotlight on Awesome Child Artists! Pablo Picasso is our focus! Or... as he was baptized in 1883..."Pablo Diego Jos Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Mara de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santsima Trinidad Martyr Patricio Clito Ruz y Picasso. He is famous for many, many art works, including this quote: "All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." Here you see his first large scale painting courtesy of www.pablopicasso.org. But he started officially at age nine!

Oh the ART of the Market! Before there was money, currency and coins... there was the MARKETS where trade was the form of transferring ownership. People have been trading goods and services since time immemorial. It wasnt until things got weird that money was introduced. Like how do you trade a cow for a swath of material for the Kingdom overseas? For me, money has been an elusive element. Sometimes I have it, sometimes I dont. But over the past few years Ive been viewing through another perspective. For me money is really just a form of energy exchange. What are your thoughts on what money means to you?

Oh its been a VERY long and winding road "back to school" mindset for me. Preparing for the Fall Studio Art Classes involved a great many diversions. One such was entertaining my visiting brother, babysitting a hilarious dog, clearing up my house, bedroom, studio, spare room, laundry room... painting business windows and teaching art camps... and attending one online Zoom course. Its been super busy but awesome. Because during this time, Ive had a multitude of revelations and registrations. MORE than Ive ever have had in such a short amount of time. Now that the Studio is primed, my house has been purged, good times were spent with those who are in my social bubble and many wonderful things have been donated to those in need... I can FINALLY FOCUS on the last five courses of my Marketing Coordinator Course!!!

As many of you know, images I use on this page are from Unsplash.com. I credit the creator on the bottom right corner as well. And then one day, I received an email from them how the United Nations want to accurately portray the changes that Covid-19 have forced upon us and our environments through the artwork of photographers across the globe. I wanted to share this article with you today because this further supports my claim that artists are cultural heroes --especially in times of crisis. https://unsplash.com/blog/the-united-nations-joins-unsplash/

Happy Tips for At-Home Teachers Tuesday! Check the comment below to click a link to see all the cool ways to see the magic!

The Inspiration Studio Academy of Fine Art 22.12.2019

HAPPY Awesome Child Artist Tuesday!!! If you were anybody among European royalty in the 18th and early 19th centuries, you had to have your portrait done by one of the great prodigies of the age: Angelica Kauffman. Born in Switzerland, Angelica was rapidly recognised as an artistic prodigy and was painting portraits of bishops by her early teens. She made her real impact as a potential portraitist for the elite when, at 13, the Duke of Modena in Italy asked her to paint his w...ife, and was so pleased with the result that he kick-started her popularity among royalty. To be painted by Kauffman became a sign of high class. She hardly had a low-profile later life, either: she spent her entire artistic career being sponsored by royal families around Europe, and was one of only two female founding members of the Royal Academy, the most prestigious British art society

Yahoo! My favourite blend of science, literature and art: Dinsosaurs and Artists! Without artists, we would not have the books, the stories, the visual comparisons in live action film, documentaries or animations of these fascinating creatures who once roamed the planet!

The Crests Star Representing Leadership and Excellence, I incorporate the star in many of my works of art... hidden within my signature. It is something Ive always done with my signature since I was about 16 years old since my first name means "Bright Fame". Stars are something people have wished upon, aspire to reach and are inspired by for thousands of years so I use it to ground all the crest elements:)
