Hanging with the pack...

From my "Faerie Wings and things..." series Molly is home from Uni and came out early to freeze her ... well it was chilly to stay the least :-) A talented amature actress she quickly went into character. Lighting from ROTOLIGHT was absolutely brilliant. Setting my exposure for the background I wanted and bringing in the AEOS (the two handled design is brilliant for location work in uneven terrain) created the cinematic effect I was looking for. From my "YOGA on the Barge Series" with the incredible @rae_walker exceptional yogin and instructor.Although the humidity on the lake was extreme this morning, the energy Rachel brought to this project was amazing, creating some absolutely beautiful poses during our sunrise shoot. My ROTOILIGHT AEOS provided the fill for what might have been a silhouette project. The Manfrotto stand was anchored in the silt in about 2 ft of lake water for these shots with the 1EL-Skyport providing all the control I needed for intensity and colour balance right from my Olympus OMD EM1 mkII.

During this time of Social Distancing I am reminded of (and miss) the camaraderie and social contact we experience in this industry. Photo clubs, meetup groups, photography tours, galleries, conventions and studio sessions as photographic related get togethers all play an important part in bringing this hobby / vocation of sharing and creative people together. Last years participants in the Muskoka Photography Clubs Moose on the Loose three day photo expedition into Algonquin.
