What a beautiful and inspiring video by one of my favourite pianists! For my students: Yulianna is giving a FB Live recital this coming Sunday at 6:30 Central European Time. Also I love her gorgeous performance of this Chopin Prelude and her sorry about what George Sand has to say about the middle section. It has changed how I hear it in the most beautiful way.

My sweet and talented student, Portia, preparing for her Grade 5 RCM Piano Exam, with her technic boxes! Portias Mom, Kelly, wrote every single technical exercise on little slips of paper, and popped them in the red box. Every day, Portia pulled out a slip and practiced the exercise. When it was memorized, she popped it into the purple box. That purple box is almost full! Im proud of you Portia! Awesome idea Kelly

Summer RCM Theory Classes! This summer I am holding summer Theory classes in preparation for August 2018 RCM Theory exams. Classes run Sunday evenings: 6pm: Grades 5-6 RCM... 7:30pm: Grades 7-8 RCM Cost is $275 if you register by May 13, 2018. ($300 if you register after May 13.) Extra help Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
