AMAZING Trips today! We had 7 Orcas, 14 humpback whales, 4 fin whales, 5 minke whales, 30 white beaked dolphins, 1 porbeagle shark, bald eagles, puffins, gannets, guillemots and murres.

This is ‘Aspidella’ terranovica, a fossil you can find near the boardwalk at the National Historic District in Port Union. It was discovered in 1868 by Scottish... geologist Alexander Murray, who was the first Director of the Geological Survey of NL. Did you know Aspidella were the first Edicaran fossils ever described?
