Thanks to Dr. Parasram and Dr. Khasnabish for creating this awesome series! Specifically for white folks, but last month's discussion addressed Mi'kmaq food sovereignty and the Indigenous fishery, so it's helpful for all settlers to ask, listen and learn.

One of the changes covid has brought is to our dish situation: we've had maaannnny a conversation about the best dishes to use & are happy we've found some compostable and recyclable containers. They cost a bit more but are worth it! Our only option for forks is still plastic and so we'd like to ask folks to try to remember to bring your own fork from home! Metal forks are way more badass, as you can see here
