UPDATE Just a reminder as we begin to reopen the salon... We are re-opening on February 16th, under code orange according to the Eastern Ontario Health Unit regulations. This being said please arrive alone to your appointment at the scheduled appointment time as we do not have a waiting area. Be prepared for Covid-19 screening questions along with temperature screening. Do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell. ... We will begin by rescheduling appointments that were pre-booked from December 27th up until the present date FIRST. Once this process is complete we will then be going through our waitlist, along with any voicemails, emails and Facebook messages. Please be patient during this time as we reschedule everyone’s appointments. To my loyal clients , I have been receiving a lot of messages from clients about returning to work. Unfortunately I do not have an answer at this point. Hopefu...lly the lockdown allows us to return to the salon at the end of February or early March. With that being said, I WILL NOT be taking on new clients to ensure I can take all of my regulars before I go on maternity leave. Rest assured, I will go over which stylist will suit your hair needs best while I’m away and leave any required formulas. Also, I want everyone to know I will not be taking a year off so don’t panic I will be back There is a waitlist available posted on the Loft Salon Facebook page. Hello, just wanted to put a reminder out there, Working at the loft,I’m working as an independent stylist, I’m booking my own appointments, & I’m trying to gro...w a steady clientele. I am very mindful of people’s time. However, No show fees are applied everytime you do not show up for an appointment. If you have to cancel please give us a courtesy call/ message/ contact us to cancel your appointment. When a client no shows, it’s hard to get someone to refill this appointment slot with such short notice.

Just a reminder that this goes for all of our stylists as it is our Policy at the Loft Salon. Our cancellation policy will be enforced, and any cancellations that need to be made must be done 48 hours before the scheduled appointment in order to avoid payment penalty. This way it gives us enough time to fill the slot that the stylist reserved for you. Missed appointments or "No Shows" will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee which must be paid before scheduling another appointment. Our scheduling software system sends out multiple reminders in order to avoid any missed appointments. Check with our receptionist to make sure your profile is up to date with your current phone number and contact information.

As of Monday, November 16th, due to the restriction change, we will be unable to provide any services where your mask must be removed. What does this mean? If you are booked for any service requiring the removal of a mask, upper lip wax, chin etc. Your appointments will be cancelled by Lydia. We will make a list of all cancelled appointments and reach out once we are in the clear. ... A mask is required when attending the salon and will be worn through all services provided and when visiting. You will be required to answer screening question and your temperature will be taken before your appointment. Anyone showing signs or symptoms of sickness will be asked to leave (unless an underlying condition exists and is presented in your health history or upon screening).
