I truly love when things come full circle and this week, was a full circle week. I realized that it’s March and this year marks 18 years performing with my partner in crime! This photo was taken about 3.5 years after our first show, that we hosted at the 1st Parksville Brownie Unit meeting just to get a badge - not even specific to magic. I’d like to introduce the lady who was so instrumental in our career - not that any of us knew it at the time! We did our 3 minute routine,... and thanks to Carol we repeated it multiple times for different groups, themed parties and events over the next few months, adding and improving with every show. Yes, we got the badge (and a bonus one specially ordered to do with the rope work in the show!) It began to snowball, and we started competing and performing more shows. Fast forward nearly two decades and here we are, still performing, raising money for other organizations, competing, seeing the world, inspiring others, and doing what we love. It gave me chills realizing that this world has been over 70% of my life, but even more chills when I learned that our biggest fan and supporter has now brought 4 generations of her family to our shows. We can’t thank you enough for being such an influence and helping to shape our future.
