Just heard that my cousin Marg Elliot passed away yesterday afternoon after several months battling cancer. The eldest of my Uncle Mac and Aunt Edith's children... who, God bless her, still welcomed me into her arms as "Billy Gee". Tiny, spirited, winsome with a lyrical laugh and unmistakable accent and aplomb that I always felt was rooted in the Irish heritage of our Grandma Edith Reid. She was raised in Milton and lived all of her adult life in the GTA. Devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She faced her diagnosis as she did her life - on her terms, resolutely, with grace and courage. Heart felt condolences to her family and friends at her side through it all. See more
