We are grateful to be able to give back to the community! Dr. Matthew and our lovely patient Jo-Anne who is collecting donations for the Downtown Eastside Women’s Shelter. The Marshall Clinic donated some toothbrushes and toothpaste!

These Photo's are a look back at another time at the Pankey Institute. These are part of our Sinking Stones Study Club . Named for the intentional "sinking"... below the surface, learning to become aware of deeper things. Being able to listen and connect with our patients on a deeper level. Our Mentor Dr. Rich Green can be seen keeping us on track during the Study.

These Photos show the hands-on part of the Pankey Institute which both Dr. Bruce and Matthew attend. The clinic where dentists learn how to do comprehensive exams, new techniques for taking bite registrations [essential for predictable restorative work, and the latest scanning and milling technologies. Additionally you can see the laboratory area where each dentist can work on models doing trial equilibrations [practicing making bites harmonious], making bite splints and doing diagnostic wax-ups. The LD Pankey Institute really does represent the highest standard of dental education available!

Digital Dentisty has come along way of the years! This is a wonderful series of photos showing the intersection of digital dentistry. The models here are 3D printed from digital scans of teeth, then they can be mounted onto Panadent articulator with Kois platform. A special facebow developed by Dr. John Kois which allows anatomical reference to the TMJs and the patients face. This is critical for planning diagnostic wax-ups and bringing together aesthetics and functional harmony.

Shout out to Dr. Scott Yamaoka and his cutting edge team! The challenge is that PPE has become increasingly hard to come by in the current situation, as well as trying to find multi face-shields big enough to fit respirators, surgical loupes and lights. Dr. Yamaoka and his team took an innovative approach to solving the issue. Using regular hard hats, magnets, glue and sheets of acetate he was able to create these super cool DIY face-shields for Dentists & CDA's....
