Dearest Parkdale, We would like you to know how much we have enjoyed your company. We are grateful to have been given the chance to ameliorate your day with something so simple as a smile and a cup of coffee. Getting to know you has been a source of great joy and inspiration. We are humbled to have witnessed such a tremendous amount of unbridled and unabashed kindness between perfect strangers and mere acquaintances within this cafe. Thank you to the Parkdale Village BIA, ...Councillor Gord Perks, and all of your lovely staff for your support and guidance over the years. Keep up the good work! A round of applause for all of the talented artists who have graced the walls. Your beautiful work truly helped to set the cafe apart. We tip our hats to Adam Pesce from Reunion Island Coffee for showing us the importance of giving back to the families and farmers who are integral to the coffee industry. They work tirelessly to help us wake up in the morning! Our charity work would not be possible without the support and generosity of the volunteers and everybody who made a contribution, no matter how big or small. Let's keep moving things forward! Thank you to all of the adorable babies and children who have filled the cafe with such delightful exuberance. It's an amazing feeling knowing that the parents felt The Mascot was an inviting place to bring their youngsters. Three cheers to our dedicated staff who did an outstanding job of keeping the cafe fun and welcoming. You are all awesome! A special thanks to all those who silenced the cynics by returning to repay your I.O.U.'s and bolstering our faith in the goodness of people. Most of all, thank you to the unique community of Parkdale for such an extraordinary and wonderful experience embellished with so many indelible memories. We are deeply honoured to have contributed a small chapter to the great story of Parkdale. We could not have surmised how lucky we would be to have made so many friends along the way.
