How are you!? Are you taking this time to knock things off your to-do list and work on your mental health or are you non-stop bingeing Netflix and comfort eating OR a bit of both? (I’m guilty of both ) As a seasonal wedding venue we are often asked what we do in between wedding seasons! This year we have the following projects and goals to accomplish before wedding season is upon us + some are already under way! restoring church pews + building b...enches, a boardwalk and a wicked arbour for our new ceremony location! updating our planning documents and the Decor Catalogue cleaning and reorganizing the venue top to bottom! supporting couples getting married this upcoming wedding season, answer all their questions to help plan their big day + navigate current restrictions. Making sure we do all that we can behind the scenes so our events are safe + fun for everyone! making a spring and fall tasting schedule for our 2022 couples! planning gardens + planters for this upcoming season business admin work that is neglected during wedding season tours! Fingers crossed we can do them in-person in the near future planning, planning and more planning of all the details leading up to each wedding (if we went into detail here you would be reading for days! lol) @charlotterosalynphotography

Don’t be afraid to be adventurous on your big day! You will create a special set of memories and have incredible photos to look back on Slipping away to have an intimate moment before partying the night away will allow you to soak in all the happiness and excitement of your wedding day! Happy New Year Everyone! What a year it has been! We could go on and on about the rollercoaster of highs and lows we experienced this past year but we aren’t going to do that. Instead we are going to thank everyone that helped us get through this year. Thank you to the all the people who supported us while we operated as a restaurant. It was tough and we have a new appreciation for the amazing people that own restaurants! ... Thank you to the community for doing an awesome job keeping our positive cases low!! Thank you to the couples who held on and trusted us to make their dream wedding a reality during the pandemic! We were extremely fortunate and had 17 weddings this past year! (18 if you include our own!) Every single wedding in 2020 made our hearts so full! Watching family and friends celebrate the good stuff life has to offer is why we LOVE our jobs so much!! Thank you to every couple who postponed to a future year, we are so grateful for your flexibility and are excited to celebrate with you! You had to make an extremely difficult decision and we promise it will be well worth the wait! Thank you to every couple with a wedding in 2021 and 2022 who have booked with us!! We are over the moon happy that so many amazing couples have booked with us. The next two years are going to be filled to the brim with love, laughter and celebration and we can’t wait to be a part of it! We are always here for our couples, never be afraid to reach out or come by! Even without a pandemic in the mix, wedding planning can be daunting - and we can always help! This past year we had the opportunity to be in your shoes, which means we know what to expect as a couple and as a venue. Having adapted to hurdle after hurdle in 2020 means we can handle whatever comes our way! We are here to do the heavy lifting so you don’t have to! We promise your wedding is going to be everything you dreamed it would be and more! Our wedding season came to a sudden end due to the upcoming lockdown. We are heart broken that our NYE wedding can no longer happen but by living through a pandemic we have learned so much about ourselves! We have all learned how to adapt, to not linger on what cannot be and look forward to all the good times coming in 2021! It has been a whirlwind week fitting in as many in person tours as possible! Britt + Seth These two originally planned to get married this past May and with love as their motivation, over came hurdle after hurdle to make their wedding day happen! It was a magical day filled with love and celebration. We were so honoured to be part of + witness their wedding day.... The pandemic has thrown challenge after challenge into everyone’s lives.
