Josephine Tychson, a single-minded, young woman from Philadelphia who had migrated west with her family a few years earlier, was the first woman to own and operate a winery in California, over 135 years ago. We also ramped up our online web and social media presence, and have welcomed some amazing new members to our growing Med family.. And then of course there... was a COVID shutdown to navigate! Desperation breeds innovation, as they say, and it was with this spirit that we combined our entire team's knowledge, skills, energy (and many sleepless nights!) to pivot quickly and launch Med Express Heat & Serve during COVID closure. We've been delighted by your support and feedback along the way, and believe we have come out the other side leaner and stronger, with many lessons learned (easy and hard!) and efficiencies gained. We've been busy preparing this classic from Valencia. Saffron rice tumbled with sautéed peppers, onions, peas, diced chorizo, prawns, mussels, clams and calamari. New addition this week - Med Express heat and serve!

We slow braised this chuck roast for 36 hours at 137 with root veggies. Next we're adding red wine, button mushrooms, pearl onions, potatoes and bacon and will let it simmer for the rest of they day.
