"Under the B-5...... Hey that sounds like BINGO! Its been months but the Espanola Lions TV BINGO is set to resume on September 23. Remember BINGO? It deals with five letters and 75 numbers! Some "yahoo" on the TV calls out a letter and a number and you find it on your card and mark it off! Now you remember! It has been awhile since our last BINGO and we are ready and raring to go. The Espanola Lions Club has had numerous requests to help out families in these tough times. Its time to refill the coffers so we can continue to serve Espanola and surrounding communities." Bingo cards are still $7 and available at your favourite vendor. Please watch us on the Community Channel or on line. Go to Espanolalionsclub.ca and follow the link. Starting time is still 6:30p.m. We SERVE. (Grant Lewis)

The Espanola Mall will be performing fire hydrant and sprinkler system maintenance on Thursday, September 10 and Friday, September 11. This may cause a brown w...ater disruption for Queensway Ave. residents from Mead Blvd to Barrie St. as well as McCulloch Dr. businesses and Highway 6/Centre St. businesses from Queensway Ave. to McCulloch Dr. If you experience brown water during this time, running a cold water tap continuously should resolve the issue. If the water doesnt clear within an hour, please call the Public Works office at (705) 869-1751 or (705) 222-7932 after-hours. We recommend refraining from using hot water or doing laundry during the disruption. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
