EASY TIP FOR SCHEDULING #INSTAGRAM POSTS!! FOR FREE!! **NO THIRD PARTY APS** I must confess, I have a hard time keeping up with my IG posts in terms of consiste...ncy. I post in 3s, simply to keep my page looking clean and sleek. I have a pattern going that I like, my middle photo is a "random" photo, simply meaning no faces. I have no particular reason for doing this. So do NOT consider this a suggestion, tip/ nugget or piece of advice. You can check my page out to see what I mean instagram.com/marleanadasilva If you use Instagram consistently for business, and have a hard time keeping up with your posts, what I'm about to share with you - may work for you. It won't work for everyone. But it will work for some. How does pre-scheduling your posts sound? This gives you the opportunity to prep all of your photos and captions for a day (or a week!), so that when you're ready, your posts are ready to go! All you need to know is summed up in two words Airplane Mode. This tip works for both iPhone and Android phones. YUP! You read right. That's the super simple secret to Instagram scheduling. Right before posting, turn your phone to airplane mode and you’ll get an upload failed message when you hit the check button to post your photo. Don’t be fooled though your photo is still there! Instagram will save your edited photo with caption and location info. Turn off airplane mode as soon as you've scheduled all the posts you need. Then, when you are ready to post, just hit the refresh button and your post will magically appear! That’s it! Instagram scheduling made easy. The photos will also still be there even if you restart your phone or download an app update. If you logout of the app though, they will probably disappear (have not tested this). Here’s a list with step by step instructions: 1. Edit your photo as you normally would. 2. Type in your caption, tag people and add location information as your normally would. 3. Before you hit the checkbox to submit your post, turn your phone on airplane mode. This can be found in your settings for both iPhone and Android. 4. Now hit the checkmark to post your photo. You will get an ‘upload failed’ error. But fear not, your photo will now show at the top of your homepage feed with both a refresh and a delete option next to it. 5. Turn airplane mode off. 6. When you are ready to actually post, just hit the ‘refresh’ button and your post will instantly load, with your edits, caption, tags and location information. That’s it! Can you believe how EASY this is to do?! If you spend hours organizing your upcoming posts or way too much editing and creating captions, this is going to save you so much time!
