It also keeps the snow plough operators in busness. For all you working out there today thanks for keeping our roads safe. Our special today for Tuesday is the corned beef on rye with soup salad or fries. Soup today is tomato. You’ve all seen what the sandwich looks like so here’s a different pic for you to enjoy today.

That’s one thing we’ve learned through this is you can’t call too early. When we get busy with take out we get really busy so if your wanting lunch or dinner at a certain time feel free to call first thing in the morning and book a time then it will be ready when you get here. Being able to sell alcohol with our take out orders makes this a good possibility. The pint and a pound special is back. Order and flavour of wings with your favourite beer and take it home and enjoy. Remember as always to call ahead for a pick up time and to make sure what you want isn’t already sold out.

The sun is rising on a new day at the Mill Pond and so are some new changes. We hope everyone had a happy and safe Christmas. What a strange year it’s been. Along with that I know I originally planned on opening tomorrow December 27th. But since Doug has asked us all to lock down again and do only take out for a while, we decided to wait till Tuesday 29th to open. So Tuesday-Thursday we will open 9-3 for take out only and on this Friday only because it’s New Year’s Day. I will open 10-7 then Saturday and Sunday 9-7. Our hours will change slightly after the Christmas break but nothing drastic and I will keep everyone posted with our daily specials and things to come from the Mill Ponds kitchen. 8-7 today 7954893353 Twenty eight years ago today, My beautiful wife and I, and our three children, at the time, moved into and took over The Mill Pond Restaurant. It really has been a life time for some, Jordyn wasn’t quite two at the time and Jay didn’t come along for another three years. Lindsey was 12 at the time and started working in the kitchen, soon after serving tables. Jamie started working for us in the kitchen a few years later when he was old enough and so did J...ordyn and Jay. This is truly a family business. What a trip it’s been. This year has certainly presented some unique challenges but we are still here and going strong. That’s in part dew to all of our good friends and loyal customers with out you we wouldn’t be here. It’s so amazing to see family’s that have been coming in so long that the children that came in with their parents are now bringing their children in, it truly is heart warming to be a part of such a strong close community. Usually we close up and take our holidays then open back up in December. Not this year. We are staying open. So come on down this weekend or next week or any day (not Mondays) we will be here to make your favourite home made soup or homemade dessert or maybe try something new.
