Here is the first dresser of the set, it's in great shape and really tall. The veneer was removed on the drawers and top, sanded and stained with aged barrel and a coat of white stain on top to soften it. The handles are original. Just a bit of wax and some drawer liners and it will be ready to go. The other one is pretty much complete, just needs the finishing touches and the hardware put back on. Pm me if interested.

I'm almost done with my set of 40's dressers, one is complete, the other 80 percent. Costco has been keeping me busy and I expect even more over the next 6 weeks. I finished a set of night tables which were presold before listing and have been rehomed. Here's a pic of those and hopefully by Sunday I'll have the dressers finished.

A late post after a long day at work and a few libations. Here is a client piece at it's new beach home.in eastport.

Another productive day. I finished a client piece, it's a gorgeous vintage art deco cabinet finished in Benjamin moore buxton blue per request and sealed with natural wax, original handles intact and off white on the inside. Soon heading to it's new home in eastport. The other is a vintage coffee table from the 1940's, updated with midnight blue and a mix of coffee and kona stain. Currently listed for $85 obo.

I got one more treasure to share. I definitely have a challenge with this one. I haven't thoroughly gone over it except to inspect the broken drawer. The dovetails are hand cut which leads me to believe this is a really old dresser. Sadly there is only one knob intact, which is wooden and beautifully turned. I'm going to get it off and check with a couple of carpenter friends to see if I can get some fabricated.i can definitely say it's from the 1800's for now. Stay tuned friends.

Been busy on my days off, got a client piece done and almost done with a set of nightstands ( sadly not vintage). Here's a look at my new acquisition, still trying to determine the age, but I think it's from the 1920-1930's. Have some small repairs to do but will be spectacular when I'm finished. Take a look.

Finished my antique nl dresser on this wild and windy day.it has a few small quirks, the drawers are a smidge sticky but solid. The color is called pressed fern, a fusion mineral paint and I sealed it with dark wax. The top is stained grey willow and will be sealed tomorrow. I'm not sure if the mirror is original to this dresser although I bought both from the same person at different times. It fits quite well but is missing a piece on the other side. I've lined the drawers with some beautiful wallpaper and added new furniture tips on the legs. The hardware is not orginial as some of them were broken. The big drawers have vintage pulls, the others are newer. Listing for $225 obo

Here's the cute antique plant stands, $30 each or both for $50. They still have the saw marks on the legs, definitely hand hewn. SOLD
