Meet Leah, She is one of our Shift Leaders here at the Modest Butcher Kitchen. Leah has been cooking since she was thirteen after seizing the opportunity to do her level 1 cook at Mt. Boucherie high school. Following a long and incredibly fun six years as a Pastry Chef for Canadian Mountain Holidays, she thought it was time to try something new! Flipping from Pastry Chef to working the grill station and learning how to perfectly cook any cut of meat, Leah has loved being ...able to freestyle through life and is up for any adventure. We asked our Executive Chef, Dan Carkner for a few words, and here's what he had to say: "Leah has an infectious smile and a positive attitude- not to mention killer pastry skills.
