We have been getting alot of questions on the canam electronic throttle quads on if they idle with cams. They were told by other companies that they will not idle with cams no matter what. Many of you know that @ostacruiser is running our 1085cc big bore paired with our #powerhouse full exhaust and stage 2 cams. We spent some time figuring out the electronic throttle to work with mods done to them. With a proper product and proper tune, they idle like a normal bike without ho...lding the throttle. We have done some testing over the weekend with the @polarisorv sportsman 850. We tried our slip on and full exhaust systems. First dyno sheet is all stock with stock muffler. Made 72hp at our 2200 feet elevation. Second sheet is with our direct bolt on slip on. No fuel controller needed. Made 80hp, a 8hp gain over stock. Our full exhaust system made 84hp, a 12hp gain over stock. We also tried our full exhaust with our airbox mod and made 86hp, 14hp gain over stock. We have some more testing to come. Going to field test this over the weekend. Obsolete parts dont always stop us. We had a customer come in with his atv to rebuild the top end. We later found that the water pump impeller was cracked and the threads stripped. This long weekend we did some more testing on our 900 and some on our 1085 kits. This dyno run was our 1085 complete kit, from big bore to exhaust. This run on the left was done with a dry 40 shot of nitrous on premium gas. No race or av gas involved at all. Nothing wrong with (135rwhp). The run on the right was done before the nitrous and has 4 years of abuse on trails and dyno.
