FOR ADOPTION: PIDGE is an approximately 18 month old beauty looking for her forever family. She came into care a few months ago with two 8 month old sons (Oreo and Oliver, now transferred to PGAR) and a swollen upper lip. We originally thought she had a cleft lip but a vet exam revealed that it was irritated and infected. She was treated with antibiotics and steroids (which we had to slowly wean her off of) and on her last vet check she was given the clear for adoption. Pidge... was living on the streets so we have no way of knowing for sure what happened to her but the vet figures she drank or ate something with trace amounts of poison which affected her mouth. Pidge is a sweet, gentle girl that will easily fit into most homes. She is great with other cats, especially males, and friendly with people. She really enjoys human company but is not a fan of being held for too long, she would rather lay beside you than be in your arms. Pidge has also been non reactive towards friendly dogs. She’s still got a bit of a playful side and is quite fun to have around. She could easily live indoor only or could be indoor/outdoor in the right environment. FOR ADOPTION: OLIVER is an approximately 10 month old male looking for a fun family of his very own. This adorable guy came into our care with a very swollen top lip, we originally thought he had a cleft lip but our vet quickly discovered that he and his mother (to be advertised once her lip is fully healed) must have drank something and had a reaction to it. His brother (Oreo, advertised last week) managed to avoid whatever they drank. It has been a couple months of treatmen...t but Oliver is finally ready to find his forever family. This boy is still very young and rowdy and all about playtime. Oliver loves to chase bell balls and wrestle with other playful young cats. He is not much of a cuddler but does enjoy being pet and would do almost anything for treats. Oliver is very good with other cats of all ages and is curious and open to the idea of being friends with a friendly dog. He could easily live with children as long as they don’t expect to be able to hug and carry him. Oliver is an adventurous guy. He is happy indoor only with lots of friends to play with and things to explore or he could do well indoor/outdoor in a safe environment.
