Martini and Wine Thursday's are back! We have reintroduced our popular Thursday Martini and Wine evenings on the rooftop between 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, where you can enjoy special Martinis for $8.00 each, or a featured wine from our cellar. Come out tonight and get reacquainted (safely) with your fellow members and guests.

Thursday Martini Night is back! Join us on the rooftop starting this week for the return of our famous Thursday Martini and Wine evenings from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, where you can enjoy selected special Martinis & wine by the glass for $8.00 each. Bosco and Jolo have created a new list of martinis for you to enjoy and every Thursday there will be a featured wine from our cellar.

We're now in week 2 of our successful rooftop deck re-opening. We hope to see you soon.

As a National Club member you will have received a while back an invitation to download your membership card. Happy Canada Day! Did you know that the National Club was founded to be the home of the "Canada First" movement, a group of nationalist intellectuals who foresaw a distinct and more independent Canadian identity within the then British Empire? As other political parties adopted much of its platform, the Canada First movement disappeared around 1900, leaving behind the National Club as living monument to Canada's early business and political leaders.

ROOFTOP PATIO RE-OPENING! We are pleased to announce that the Rooftop patio will reopen effective Monday, July 6th, 2020. Daily hours of operation will be Monday to Friday for lunch from 11:30 to 2:00 p.m. and dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Food and beverage service will be available along with a special limited Grab & Go menu. Under City of Toronto guidelines, seating will be limited in the configuration as determined by the layout of the area. Reservations will be requ...ired and will be accepted in advance on a first-come first-served basis. At this time, Members and Spouses ONLY are permitted to visit the Club. Once capacity has been reached you will be advised on alternative available times. In keeping with the City regulations no other services are currently available. Washroom facilities are limited to the 4th floor only. Details have been emailed to our members regarding additional safety protocols. We can't wait to see you.

Summer is best enjoyed with a (responsible) drink in hand. But when the temperatures hit the ceiling, only icy cocktails will quench your thirst. Luckily, weve gathered the best frozen drink recipes so youll be ready whenever the mercury rises. Ladies and gentlemen, start your blenders! * Blue Margarita Blanco tequila: 1.5oz... Blue Caracao: 0.75oz Lemonade: 3oz Simple syrup: 0.5oz Combine all the ingredients with 2 cups crushed ice in a blender, and blend on high speed for 30 seconds, until there are no longer chunks of ice. Pour into your favourite cocktail glass. Garnish with lime slices, and serve immediately. * Kiss on the lips! Pineapple: 3-5 cubes Half of a mango Peach Schnapps: 0.75oz Vodka: 1.5oz Grenadine 0.5oz Combine all the ingredients with 2 cups crushed ice in a blender, and blend on high speed for 30 seconds, until there are no longer chunks of ice. Pour into your favourite cocktail glass. Garnish with mint, pineapple & strawberries and serve immediately. * Strawberry Daiquiri Strawberry: 4-6 pieces Lime juice: 1oz White rum: 2oz Simple syrup: 0.75oz Combine all the ingredients with 2 cups crushed ice in a blender, and blend on high speed for 30 seconds, until there are no longer chunks of ice. Pour into your favourite cocktail glass. Garnish with mint, pineapple & strawberries and serve immediately.
