The Next Phase 23.02.2021

We're fired up. Our November workshop is half full. There are 3 spots left. We focus on helping teams understand the motivation and methods of institutional investors -- basically it's like partner meeting with 2 ex-VCs where we help you create a coherent, consistent and rational story for your company. We focus on building targets and a plan for the next 18-24 months that make sense. Our next workshop is happening Nov 14-16 in Halifax. The workshop starts the day after Amp...lify Atlantic http://amplifyatlantic.com/ where David is co-chairing (with the incomparable Yves Boudreau). There are amazing growth stories from Eva Lau, Catherine Graham, Alistair Croll and Steli Efti. Can't wait for November.

Toon and I are hosting another workshop in Halifax. The workshop is Nov 14-16, 2018 (immediately following Amplify Atlantic - where I am a co-chair and we'll be giving away passes). Workshop details are at: http://thenextphase.ca/ The cost is $1195+HST for companies based in Atlantic Canada (incorporated in NS, NB, PE, NL or headquartered in any of these provinces). ... We provide venture services. Most companies when they think of venture services they think of outsourcing: - product design & development - marketing & sales - real estate & facilities - HR & payroll - etc. We know companies need money to pay for these services. Where does this money come from? Who invests in companies that aren't worth anything, YET? What do investors look for in companies? What do they expect in ownership and control? What are they expecting for payback or returns? Toon and I are ex-investors. We have made institutional investments for venture capital funds and personal angel investments. We share our model for evaluating potential investments. And we share how investors raise money, their return expectations, and the implications of different types of money and terms on the future of your company. Basically, this is semi-private partner meeting where the investors explain their thinking about your company as a potential investment. Join us.
