Instagram is a social place and users love their emojis. Every social media platform deserves content that is tailored to that platform if you truly want to maximize your engagement. Use the points above to create your perfect profile bio and include emojis that focus the followers attention to where you want it most. The next step at this point is to include line breaks in your profile so that you can make it easily scannable. If you just include the line breaks when editing your profile, in the app, sometimes it has a habit of removing your line breaks. If this is happening to you, simply open up the Facebook app on your phone, create a status update on your profile with your desired emojis and line breaks (dont hit post, were just doing this to set the line breaks), then copy the entire text in the status and paste straight into your Instagram profile. Why You Shouldnt Use Linktree or Other Bio Link Services If your account is a mere mortal (less than 10K followers), then that coveted link in your profile is the only link you have to bring people back to your website. Services like Linktr.ee are offering a loophole to offer multiple links from a single profile. Linktree is a free tool for optimizing your IG traffic. Youll get one bio link to house all the content youre driving followers to. Let your content live lo...nger than the feed. You dont want to have to run traffic from IG to just your home page or single blog post, so having a page that showcases multiple links seems like a great idea! The problem? When the user clicks on the Linktr.ee link, theyre taken to a Linktr.ee hosted website, not yours! This poses a few issues: The user has to click at least twice to get to your website (always try to shorten the clicks to convert your traffic into the desired action). If they dont click beyond the Linktr.ee page, you will not pixel them! For the savvy marketers out there, retargeting ads are a big part of your campaign structure for running ads on Instagram and Facebook. Youre getting warm traffic who is interested in your offer, and with a Linktr.ee link, you could possibly turn this traffic cold.

The Best Hashtags for Realtors in 2020! Im sure by now you know and understand how important hashtags are to grow organically on Instagram. They are the #1 easiest & most effective way to grow, but only if you do it correctly! Use realtor hashtags on Instagram that are trending. What is trending?... The goal of using a hashtag is to capture the attention and hopefully some engagement from an Instagram user using that hashtag and searching for content. You want them to land on your post with the hashtag you have used. We want your account & your Instagram post to trend for that particular hashtag. As pictured, ideally you want to land in one of those top 9 spots. Careful thoughif you use too large of a hashtag (say, with 500,000 posts or more) itll be really hard to trend unless you have a huge account. Look for a sweet spot of 20,000-250,000 posts on hashtags, with a caveat of your local hashtags. For example, #openhouserichmondhill currently only has 80 posts, but this is a highly targeted hashtag to use for this realtor, and if a potential buyer is following this hashtag, chances are pretty good its going to show up in their feed!
