The Nimble Thimble

Posting the last one today as well. Have to get the quilt together. Will take some time.

Second to last. Looks a bit plain right now. Wait u til the quilting is finished.

Love to do paper piecing. The results are always exact. 3 more to go.

The photograph does not do it justice. The turquoise is spectacular against the pink. Now there are 4 to go

When I design these squares, I tak into consideration how they are quilted. This block will have vines running up to the pink buds in the corners. 5 more to go.

I have to be extra careful when I am doing circles. This is the poppy with appliqued leaves. 6 more to go.

Each of the blocks will be unique and the background for each will be in black. 7 more blocks to go.

This is the first of nine blocks for the newest quilt. I am using up all the beautiful batik fabric scaps for this one. Eight more to go.
