Evening again everyone, I’m finally back at home, the surgery went well and now it’s resting time until I’m recovered. Unfortunately I can’t work for 2 weeks and that will bring us past the holidays. I’m very sorry that I can’t be open for everyone to get their Christmas haircuts done but I am looking forward to returning! I hope you all enjoy the holidays and have a wonderful Christmas. Thank you for all the kind words and wishes that everyone has sent to me and most of all thank you for your understanding during this time.

Good evening everybody, The Noodle will be closed until further notice as Janessa is undergoing emergency appendix surgery. We will continue to update everybody as we know more. I know this couldn’t be any worse timing but the shop will be closed again today. Unfortunately my health has gone bad in more ways than one. I’ve been in emerge since yesterday afternoon and I’m still here. I will keep everyone updated as best as I can.

I apologize for the late notification. I got my days mixed up for my ENT specialist appointment at the hospital which is today. The shop will not be open until 1:00 pm today. Sorry for the inconvenience and I’ll see you all there at 1:00!

After yesterday’s specialist appointment. I have to return today for a minor procedure. The shop will be closed for today as I have to go there two separate times and I have no idea how long I will be there for either appointments. Please bear with me, I know this is inconvenient but I also need to keep myself healthy to keep on working! I’ll see you all Thursday.

I’ve decided to give myself a little holiday to catch up on things in my life outside of work. So the shop will be closed this Tuesday(October 12th) until Friday(October 16th) I will be returning for Saturdays appointments (October 17th) which are currently fully booked. The shop will return to regular hours Tuesday (October 20th). I’ll see you all next week!

I am so blessed to be nominated this year for customer service excellence-service. I appreciate all my clients so very much and I will always strive to do my best for all of you. There is nothing more that I want than having my clients come in feeling welcomed and leaving happy and refreshed.I’m also so proud of everyone else nominated. You all deserve it! Hey everyone! The shop is going to be open only for a short period this Wednesday(July 22nd).Just like all of you, I have also been waiting to get my hair done. Ill be open until about 11:45 as my appointment is at 12:00. I am not fully certain how long I will be but I will be heading back after Im finished. I will update when I have a better idea! Open regular hours all other days!

The Noodle is opening Tuesday, June 16th at 10:00 AM. Please read all of the COVID procedures. I will be starting to take appointments for Saturdays as of Monday June 15th. As always, I will only be answering messages and calls during business hours. I know everyone is very excited about getting in to get their hair cut but please have patience with me. This is a very overwhelming time and I can only do my best. I will be contacting the clients that I had to cancel due to COVID to reschedule your appointments as you are a priority. With the announcement of barbershops being able to open my phone has been blowing up. This is great news and Im excited to see you all again! That being said, I am only one person and now have a lot of things to do, Im currently working on finding out exactly what restrictions we will need to follow and making sure that I am not missing anything extra that I will need at the shop. Please have patience with me as I do my best to figure out what will be the best way of re-opening. I do not have an exact date of re-opening at this moment but I will keep updating as I know more.

Sneak peak of the new location! I just want to give out a HUGE thanks to everyone who has helped me with this, especially my Mom Jana Lang-Froome she helped with so much of this and really made my dream barbershop come true (she has amazing interior design skills.) I also want to give a shoutout to Andrew Patterson for creating the perfect logo. I cannot wait to be able to re-open!!

Well, non essential business will have to be closed for another two weeks. I know this is serious stuff but we have to have fun when we can and the longer the shop is closed the higher the chances of all us relating to this photo. This is a hard time for everyone. The unknown is a scary thing. We can get through this, I myself have re found my love for yoga, it has helped me a lot. This slow living is a bit of a blessing in disguise. Take time for self care, catch up on things youve been meaning to get done, enjoy the extra time with those in your household, we will come out on top, stronger and better than ever before.

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT: I was planning for a better way to announce the move of the Barbershop, but as we all know, the COVID-19 virus has changed a lot for everyone. As of April 1st, you will find me at 42-C Earl Avenue. In addition to relocating the shop is also being rebranded to "The Noodle". That being said, because of the current circumstances due to the virus the shop will be closed until further notice. This is not a decisions I take lightly, this is to ensure the safety... of all my clients, as well as myself. You are all very important to me! This is an extremely tough time for all. I just want to send out an apology to all of my clients for any inconveniences my absence as of late may have caused. Its been a little bit of a rough go the last couple of weeks, with being really sick and it took a toll on my mental health as well. I know most people understand but I still want everyone to be happy and know whats going on. Ill be back at the shop tomorrow. I appreciate all of you!

Its mental illness awareness week! Theres so much stigma towards mental illness still but it is getting so much better. I feel theres a much bigger stigma when it comes to men with mental illnesses. Simply because theyve always been expected to be the strong ones, the ones who dont show their emotions because its a sign of weakness. The whole men dont cry and boys dont cry sayings that have been around forever. Well its total BS. Men ARE allowed to show emotion, ...they deserve to be allowed to cry, they should be allowed to ask for help when they need it without being worried that they are going to look weak and have people judge them. Its ALWAYS okay to not be okay. Take a day of self care my dudes, you deserve it. In fact everyone deserves it. Take time for yourself when youre overwhelmed, ask for help when you need it, cry if you need to. Its not a sign of weakness, it shows youve been through stuff and that youre tough because you keep going. At the end of the day, you deserve to love yourself fully, and there are so many people who care about you. If we dissolve this stigma completely that means weve all come together to lift each other up and that my friends, is powerful. See more

I was so honoured to give this dude his first professional haircut! He already had his usual buzzcut done but after his Dad was done getting his cut we decided lets spice it up. So we gave him a bald fade into the pre existing buzzcut and we were all pretty stoked about the end result and cant wait for the next visit. Ill forever love my career and moments like this.

To all my lovely clients, Ive been hesitant to post this but Ive always said I like to be real and honest. Unfortunately my mental health wasnt doing so great last night and so I decided to take a day for myself today. Im sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. You all know how much I love my career and having you as clients, so I gotta take care of myself in order to be my best for you guys too! Thank you guys for always being understanding. On another note I ...have several scheduled days off that Im going to post along with days I will be open to make up for the closed days.
