At 3:30 am this morning, 12 people were arrested while holding the intersection of Laurier and Nicholas on unceded Algonquin territory (Ottawa) at the #WeAreRel...ated protest for the lives of Indigenous and Black Peoples. This happened not long after they had been promised a meeting with city councillors and the Ottawa Police Services Board to discuss their demands.
