The Occasional Angels 30.12.2020

Songwriter David Hart is reunited with long-time musical associate Paul Turenne. The two were band mates in Goats Head Soup (2001-2006) and Blood Earth Blue (2013-2016). Recorded and produced by Scott Paterson, this Hart composition is one of nine on his upcoming solo album 'Fleetwood'. In addition to Turenne's great lead vocal performance, producer Scott Paterson takes a solo spot on rhodes piano. Thanks also to Andrew Burns for additional recording work.

The three founding members of the Occasional Angels are reunited on this David Hart composition. Featuring Cris Ruggiero on lead vocal and Scott Paterson in the production chair this song has all the hallmarks of a Hart-Paterson-Ruggiero track. This is the 2nd track from Hart's upcoming solo album of the same name. Feel free to share.

The first track from Occasional Angels' founder, David Hart's 2nd solo album is tentatively scheduled for release some time next week. 'Lemon Grass Dew', was penned during the summer of 2020 and has been in production for the past several weeks. It features Dee Butters on lead vocal and Zeek Gross on saxophone, both of whom recorded with Hart on 'Like it's Still 1950' which generated radio play on 91.1 Jazz FM. Long-time muse Scott Paterson handles the production reigns once again on the 9 tracks destined for Hart's 'Fleetwood' solo effort. Like it's predecessor, this album will feature several vocalists and guest performers.
