Remember last September we did those picnics and threatened to do them again? Well we are. Saturday February 27th we will be offering winter picnics in association with our friends at Roots, Rants and Roars. Yes, the great Roots festival wasn't on last year so we offered picnics in their place and now we're doing them again. This time round you can expect to find either Chicken, Mushroom & Cheese or Spanakopita Savoury Turnovers, Irish tea, a selection of pastries includin...g NL Partridgeberry Cinnamon Bread pudding, NL Rhubarb crumbles and more besides. You'll even get THE Cinnamon Bun for breakfast the next day. Each picnic will serve 2 people and each picnic costs $50 total. You'll have to bring your own thermos of hot water but everything else is provided and the thermal bag is yours to keep. If you'd like to order a picnic bag please send your order to [email protected] and specify if you want chicken or veggie or even 1 of each. Remember, each order serves 2. Plan your snow shoeing, hike, dog walk or isolation delivery, no matter what we have your lunch covered February 27th.

This week we will be trying to brighten your weekend with some of the best treats. The ODB Tortoise Cheesecakes (Chocolate, Peanut, Caramel) are making a return in fulls and halves to start. We will also be making some Mango Coconut Swiss rolls. Two little hints to maintain you until Friday. The truck will be open Friday and Saturday this week at Churchill square. The virtual lineup will be turned on when the truck is open and we currently aren't taking any orders on anything.... Stay tuned for full menus and details later this week.

Well Happy New year to everyone, we hope you're all well and as you can see by the croissant dough setup, we are back! We are aiming to make 2021 the best year yet for the ODB, every year previous has been better than the one before so we're hoping to maintain that trend. New and improved products of course but we are also working on something....big. You can expect to find Cinndy open again this Friday and Saturday, full menu and details to follow. In the meantime, Classic ...Carrot Cakes are on the menu this week as per a request, if you'd like one saved for you, $24 no tax, send me an email! [email protected]

Been a long time but Blueberry Bakewell squares will be on the menu this Saturday. A crispy buttery later of shortbread, a fine layer of homemade Blueberry Jam, a thick sweet layer of Almond Frangipane, all topped with piles and piles of Blueberries.

Well folks the time has come to say a fond farewell for a couple of weeks, we are officially on Christmas vacation! Thanks so much for all the orders, pickups, travelling and everything else associated with grabbing treats from us. 2020 has been the biggest year for us and we are hoping to really knock 2021 out of the park so stay tuned for that. Here is your menu for Christmas Eve. We are busy boxing orders and getting the truck set up but as soon as all that is done we will be set up outside the United Church on Cochrane Street again today. We are trying to move everything today so the last of the Sticky Toffee puddings are on sale for $20 with the sauce, no tax. Today only! Will post when set up!

December 23rd and we are just about ready for you. Parked right at Cochrane Street United Church on Cochrane Street until 2pm at the latest. All of your orders are packed and available for direct pick up from Emily and the truck is just about to open!

I figured I'd post this early to give you a head start. Here is the menu for both the 23rd and 24th of December. The truck will be parked on Cochrane Street both days as we will need to refill throughout due to the amount of orders and products available. We are unable to take anymore orders at this point and have been since Friday December 11th. I am now getting through the list and starting to message now about your order. Carrot Cakes and Sticky Toffee puddings are not on ...order at all and are available first come, first serve. Those who have messaged about them, I just added them both to the menus and they will be available to whoever wants to come by to buy them. We have been doing everything we can to get as much made as possible and it's been the busiest December yet. Please bear with us a little longer and set up times will be determined each day by whenever we are ready to go, the earlier the better, so stay tuned! Apologies for my attempt at clarity.

2 pastries are better than 1. We went out of our way and made extra of both Raspberry Jam Flakies and Apple Turnovers just so you can treat yourself a little extra today. Today only, you can buy either for $5 each or 4 for $16 and you can mix and match and have any combo to total 4.... Will be set up at the old Rona on White Rose Drive again today and will post when arrived.

It's been busy again at Rona on White Rose Drive but there is still lots left to choose from including lots of Almond Croissants! Now is your chance.

You have some reading to do today! The menu needs little or no explanation so I'll leave it to you. Incase you haven't noticed we are trying more and more each week to use local produce, as we really should. Come out today and eat where you live. Loading up for Kingsbridge garage and will post when arrived.

It's taken me 10 minutes to close up and leave as everyone has been coming and coming but I am sold out completely now! It's been another crazy busy day and I thank you all very much for making your appearances. Tomorrow is Saturday and that means Kingsbridge garage again. Lots of cheesecakes in full and halves and lots more besides!

The rain didn't stop you yesterday so hopefully today's wind won't either. Loading up and soon headed for Rona on White Rose Drive again today and will be set up and ready between 12 and 12:30. Here is a picture of a 1/2 Newfoundland Partridgeberry Cheesecake. If you haven't tried one of the Cheesecakes the last few weeks today is the perfect opportunity. Steve has been making the most amazing Cheesecakes and you can get one for yourself if you don't believe me.

Only 1 Lemon Cream Raspberry cake remains as well as a very limited number of all of these treats. Here until sold out, 3:30 at a guess.

I forgot to add Partridgeberry Flakies to the menu but I have then available and am now open at Rona on White Rose Drive!

ETA 12:30 or so. The menu for today is jam packed again and almost identical to yesterday's choices. One of the differences is the Partridgeberry Scones were sprinkled with homemade lemon sugar before they were baked. Finishing off everything as we speak and will be at Rona on White Rose Drive again whenever everything is loaded up.

ETA 12:30pm give or take. Nice and early and as full a menu on a Thursday as it's ever been. Not only can you get a great dessert for the family or the work crowd but you can get Almond Croissants on a Thursday (I know!). Or how about these Peanut Butter and Jam Cookies? It's been a while but they're available today. ... Will be set up at the old Rona on White Rose Drive when everything is baked and loaded up and will post on arrival.

Bit of a rushed photo but here is the Lemon Cream and Raspberry Jam cake. 8 inch square cake made of three layers of light sponge that's soaked in Newfoundland mixed Berry syrup, layers of Raspberry Jam and layers of Lemon Curd cream all sprinkled with homemade lemon sugar. Enough to feed 8 people easily for $26.

Chocolate dipped, Sea salt Caramel, Chocolate cream Eclairs. The only bigger mouthful is to actually eat them. Available starting tomorrow.

Some good news and bad news. The good news is Galen is making almost 200 Chocolate cream caramel Eclairs throughout this week. The bad news is that after some fridge issues here this morning we are behind a couple of hours so set up time today may be delayed. ... Will post when arrived and about to open so please hang tight. Apologies but what can you do?

Here is the menu for today at Rona on White Rose Drive. I'll be there just as soon as everything is baked and loaded up, 12:30pm at a guess. Here is photo of my morning coffee with some Irish Apple Cake. Made with apples from Tilly acres all the way from CBS. The cake not only has all of it's moisture come from lots and lots of these beautiful apples but it's also filled with chopped walnuts, nutmeg and cinnamon. There are only 12 Apple cakes available this week and if you don't eat it with custard or cream for dessert it's perfect for breakfast or brunch. Only at the Old Dublin Bakery.

A whole load of Newfoundland Partridgeberries ready for a load of Cheesecakes tomorrow. I added nothing to these local berries but sugar, no water, no cornstarch. Not only will you be able to get one of the Partridgeberry Cheesecakes Steve has been perfecting the last few weeks but when I left work today there was an oven full of Irish Apple cakes that will available starting tomorrow. It's been probably 3 years but they are Madeira cakes full of chopped local apples from Tilly acres, chopped walnuts and nutmeg and cinnamon. Photos to follow tomorrow. The truck will be open by Rona on White Rose Drive tomorrow, Friday and for the first time, Saturday this week too. Full menu and details to tomorrow too.

The very, very last of the Newfoundland mixed Berries will be on Cheesecakes again this week. Starting tomorrow you can get your Cheesecake in full for $34 or in halves for $18 at the old Rona on White Rose Drive. ETA 12:30 tomorrow afternoon. Full menu tomorrow morning.

Thanks so much for another busy sellout day. Not only will I be back at Kingsbridge garage again tomorrow but I'll be bringing Galen's brand new Chocolate Peanut Caramel cookies. The ODB chocolate chip cookies with roasted salted peanuts and a Galen sized thumbprint (He's 6'5") of Dulce de leche caramel. Full menu tomorrow, hope to see you then!

New and improved Chili cream cheese Croissant, salted with fresh cracked sea salt as always. I changed the shape so that the filling stays exactly where you want it, inside the Croissant! Still my favourite flavour and I think you'll like the new tweak.

Here is the menu you can find later on today at Kingsbridge garage again. These Newfoundland mixed Berry Pavlovas are just what they sound like. Slow baked Meringue, a concentrated jelly of 5 different Newfoundland Berries, sweet Vanilla cream and a generous helping of the 5 Newfoundland Berries; Blueberries, Strawberries, Haskaps, Partridgeberries and Blackcurrants. In case you haven't noticed Newfoundland local produce is a big feature these days and yes, you can buy Cheesecakes in halves today. Will post when setting up!
