At age 17 he moved with his family to Canada. A year later looking for adventure he joined the Military, while with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (P.P.C.L.I.) he became very adapt with the long rifle, and had the cross rifle and crown of a Marksman.This set him up on the road to being a Sniper, One that would set him off on his dream of Adventure. Later he became a Medic and, 23 years later retired as a Physician Assistant. He now resides in Alberta with his wife Rose, surrounded by his Three Daughters and seven Grandchildren. Dr. Ward has been dealing with P.T.S.D. for many years, now along with his Service dog Barney, he leads a rather quiet life.
